One thing that you will notice abot the Temecula wine country is that the wineries are concentrated along 2 main roads, Rancho California road and De Portola road. Most of the wineries are located along Rancho California, but more and more are springing up along De Portola, extending your tasting trips a bit farther out. There is plenty of room here for gowth,a nd we expect to see more and more wineries and growers come into the area in the next few years, making this the wine & weekend destination in southern California.

Secondly is that there are alot of police in Temecula, both local and California State Highway Patrol. Please, please please do not drink and drive! Book a hotel room and hire a driver to get around, the ticket you will get for drinking and driving here in Temecula is not worth it.

Finally, dress for the weather. Morning can be a bot on the chilly side, while days in the spring, summer and fall can be scorchers. Bring plenty of water, a full tank of gas and plenty of film.
